WASHINGTON, Aug. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Artemis Group, the space advisory firm founded by former NASA Chief of Staff Gabe Sherman, today announced the launch of its Growth Strategy initiative, led by Senior Advisor Bill Weber, to help clients build capital strategy and investor relationships across the U.S. space and defense ecosystem.

Bill Weber brings decades of leadership in high-growth technology environments to the role. He most recently served as CEO of Firefly Aerospace, an end-to-end space transportation company, and previously founded First Light Acquisition Group, a SPAC that completed a $230 million public raise in 2021. Earlier, he was President, CEO, and a board member of KeyW Corporation, a 2,000-plus person cyber and geospatial intelligence company, through its 2019 merger with Jacobs Engineering Group. Weber began his career as a U.S. Army Captain, is an Airborne Ranger, and was awarded the Bronze Star for actions during Operation Desert Storm.
