The 5th edition of the International Architecture & Design Awards (IADA), organised by the Architecture & Design Community (ADC), has announced its winners. This year, 347 winners were selected from more than 500 shortlisted entries representing 53 countries. Reflecting the rapid evolution of the industry, the 2026 edition introduced new AI-focused categories, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in architecture and design.
In this year’s competition, PIXREADY, a leading 3D visualization studio, was awarded Platinum in the Architectural Visualization & Rendering – AI-Powered category for its project “Bionic Architecture: Public Landmark Concept“.
The winning project explores a visionary, neo-futuristic public landmark defined by fluid, organic forms inspired by bionic design principles. Created as a conceptual architectural study, the project demonstrates how emerging technologies can expand the boundaries of architectural expression while maintaining precision and realism.
At its core, the project showcases PIXREADY’s hybrid AI + 3D workflow, where artificial intelligence accelerates ideation and creative exploration, while expert-led 3D production ensures structural logic, material accuracy, and photorealistic quality.
This approach reflects a key philosophy behind the project: AI as a creative partner, not a replacement—enhancing speed and exploration while preserving human expertise, artistic control, and architectural integrity.
