Online credit solutions provider Elevate Credit announced in a company press release today that its CEO Jason Harvison has been named as a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Southwest 2020 Award.
The programme aims to recognise entrepreneurs and leaders of ‘high-growth’ companies who are performing in areas that include innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their business and communities, while also having an impact on global situations.
Harvison commented on what being nominated as a finalist meant to him by saying: “It’s a great honor to be selected as a finalist for this prestigious award. At Elevate, I have the pleasure of working alongside terrific people who believe wholeheartedly in our mission of providing responsible credit options to non-prime consumers. We all work hard for our brand customers and each other, and it’s nice to take a moment to be recognized.”
The 2020 Awards season is definitely underway and this year it has led to companies that host Awards look at how companies and its leaders are tackling issues that have become an offset from COVID-19 that include supporting local communities.
DataDog recently announced it had won at the AWS Public Sector Partners Awards for the “Best Mission-Based Data Solution” Award showing that winning Awards gives a business and its team the recognition for the solutions provided.
Having Jason from the online credit solutions provider being shortlisted for this Award gives testament to the company that it’s providing customers with value while leading a team with a vision for success.
Ernst & Young claim that its Entrepreneur of the Year Southwest 2020 Award is the first and only truly global awards programme of its kind that celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing, and dynamic businesses by recognising them through regional, national, and global awards programmes in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries.
The programme makes a difference through the way it encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and recognizes the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership, and achievement.
Saundra D. Schrock, Chairman of the Board at Elevate comments on why Jason is a suitable contestant for the Entrepreneur of the Year Southwest 2020 Award by saying: “Jason has been with Elevate for many years, quickly rising up the ranks to become an exceptional leader.
