Introducing anywear, an On-Demand Messaging Platform That Brings Professional Styling to Everyone

New app connects consumers with professional stylists for personalized fashion advice starting at $25

NEW YORK, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Personal styling has long been viewed as a luxury, reserved for celebrities and high-net-worth consumers. Today, Saturday Night Live costume designer Jill Bream and stylist Alexis Teller are changing the industry with the launch of anywear, a new mobile platform that connects users directly with professional stylists through messaging for personalized, on-demand fashion advice.

Your personal stylist, on-demand. Anytime, anywear.

Available now on the App Store and Google Play, anywear provides access to real human stylists who help with everything from event dressing and wardrobe refreshes to fit questions and in-store shopping decisions. Sessions start at $25, making expert styling more accessible than traditional personal styling services.

Founded by New York City-based stylists Jill Bream and Alexis Teller, anywear was born from a simple observation. After decades of working in television, film, and celebrity styling, the pair found themselves constantly fielding texts from friends and colleagues seeking fashion advice. What started as an everyday occurrence quickly revealed a larger gap in the market.

“People were already coming to us every day with questions about what to wear, what to buy, and how to feel more confident in their clothes,” said Alexis Teller, co-founder and CEO of anywear. “I realized that access to professional styling was still out of reach for most people. Everyone deserves to feel good in what they’re wearing, and anywear makes that expertise available on-demand, at a price that’s realistic for everyday life.”

Unlike fashion technology platforms built on algorithms and AI-generated recommendations, anywear is human-first by design. What anywear offers is access to experienced professionals who understand the individual, the occasion, the fit issue, and the nuances an algorithm may miss. The only role of an anywear stylist is to help consumers make better decisions and feel more confident in what they wear.

The platform offers two service options:

Signature Styling ($55): A 30-minute session designed for larger styling goals, including special events, wardrobe refreshes, workwear planning, seasonal transitions, and fit guidance. Customers receive a personalized action plan with shopping recommendations, wardrobe organization advice, or styling strategies.

Quick Fix ($25): An on-demand styling session for immediate questions, such as outfit checks, shopping decisions, closet restyling, or occasion dressing.

The launch comes as consumers increasingly seek trusted, personal recommendations in an overwhelming digital shopping landscape. Traditional styling can cost hundreds per session, while online advice often feels generic or influenced by brand partnerships. anywear closes that gap with expert, unbiased guidance that fits real schedules and budgets.
