- Marks Bluedot’s expansion beyond enterprise, with consumers now accounting for half of revenue
- CEO: “Ambient AI is going to make everyone an archivist of their own life”
- Privacy-first by design: end-to-end encrypted, with data never used to train AI models
LONDON, UK, MAY 27 2026: Bluedot, the privacy-first, AI note-taking platform, today launches on Apple Watch, enabling users to seamlessly record and transcribe conversations in real time. The app automatically syncs transcriptions across devices, converting recordings into accurate structured summaries instantly.
Entering a new era of AI note-taking, on-the-go
The latest integration extends Bluedot’s cross-platform ecosystem, which already spans mobile, desktop and web, to users’ wrists, completing a vision for truly ambient, always-on note-taking. Unlike competitor solutions that require dedicated hardware or meeting bots, Bluedot on Apple Watch works seamlessly across any conversation.
The launch reflects the company’s growing consumer user base and a broader shift in how people think about capturing memories. Its user base spans students recording lectures, professionals capturing client meetings and individuals preserving personal moments – such as church sermons, medical consultations and school parents evenings.
“People now have the tools to capture life as it actually unfolds: not just the quarterly review, but the funeral, the Best Man’s speech, the doctor’s appointment,” said Dima Eremin, cofounder and CEO of Bluedot. “What we’re seeing in Bluedot’s data is a behavioural shift that will define how the next generation thinks about memory. The smartphone made everyone a photographer. Ambient AI is going to make everyone an archivist of their own life.”
Built with privacy at its core
In a market where many AI tools rely on users data for model training, Bluedot takes a different approach. Audio and transcripts are encrypted end-to-end, data is never used to train AI models – across any pricing tier – and storage is regional: European data is held in Germany, US data in the United States. Users are also encouraged to obtain consent before recording.
Bluedot works with the tools you already use
Bluedot integrates with a wide range of productivity and business tools, including AI assistants Claude and ChatGPT for transcript analysis, Notion and Slack for collaboration, HubSpot and Salesforce for CRM, and Zapier and Make for workflow automation. These integrations allow recordings and insights to flow into existing workflows without manual input.
Growing global adoption
With more than 10,000 customers worldwide and double-digit monthly growth, Bluedot is one of the few AI note-takers to have built a significant consumer following – now accounting for half of its revenue – alongside its established enterprise base that includes a $10bn UK investment management firm, a leading European aerospace manufacturer, and the UK’s largest family law firm.
The platform supports transcription in over 100 languages, with 39% of users based in Europe, 37% in North America, and 11% in APAC.
From recruitment tool to AI productivity platform
Bluedot was founded by two Ukrainian entrepreneurs, Dima Eremin and Ruslan Halilov, who met at university. While running a recruitment business together in 2017, they found themselves struggling to reliably capture content from client and candidate conversations, which led them to build the solution themselves – evolving into Bluedot.
“The launch of Bluedot on Apple Watch cements our position in the market,” said cofounder and Chief Revenue Officer Ruslan Halilov. “Competitors either require dedicated hardware – separate, chargeable devices with low quality microphones – or they require bots or meeting integrations, all of which create unnecessary friction. Bluedot works with users’ lives, seamlessly running across every conversation that matters.”
The Bluedot app is available to download on Apple Watch today as part of its existing subscription plans.
