He started at McCaw Cellular, where he played a pivotal role in introducing modern smartphones to mainstream markets. After AT&T acquired McCaw, he rose through retail and regional roles, serving as the president/CEO of AT&T's Mobility and Consumer Operations. He was also president/CEO of Synchronoss Technologies from 2017 to 2020. He's now a General Partner at Stormbreaker Ventures.
