A new update for the WordPress plugin 3.0 by Apirone is here, bringing a range of improvements designed to make crypto payments smoother, faster, and more transparent for both merchants and customers.

The plugin is now built on the Apirone SDK PHP Library 2.0, significantly improving performance, stability, and long-term maintainability. This upgrade ensures a more robust foundation for developers while simplifying integration and future updates.
One of the most notable changes is the transformation of the invoice system. The invoice application is now a fully independent Single-Page Application (SPA). With client-side rendering, the checkout process is noticeably faster and more responsive, offering users a seamless payment experience. Although the SPA is included within the SDK, it can also be deployed and used as a standalone application, giving developers greater flexibility in how they build and scale their payment flows.
Another important enhancement is the introduction of the new “Include fees” option. This feature allows merchants to automatically incorporate both service and network fees into the total payment amount. As a result, customers always see a final, transparent fiat-equivalent price for each supported cryptocurrency. This eliminates confusion and ensures there are no unexpected costs at the time of payment.
The currency selector has also been redesigned. Every supported cryptocurrency now has its own visual icon, improving usability and clarity. When fees are included in the total, customers additionally see the full fiat amount (including fees) directly next to each payment option. This makes choosing a payment method more intuitive and transparent than ever before.
Looking ahead: TON blockchain integration
Beyond this release, Apirone development is already underway for the next major expansion: integration with the TON blockchain ecosystem. This upcoming update will introduce native support for The Open Network (TON), including its token GRAM, as well as stablecoin payments using USDT and USDC on the TON network.
This integration is designed to unlock faster, cheaper, and more scalable transactions. TON’s high-performance architecture makes it an ideal addition for merchants who require efficient global payment processing. By supporting stablecoins on TON, the system will also provide users with more predictable pricing and reduced volatility exposure, while maintaining the benefits of blockchain-based payments.
What’s next
This release is only one step in a broader roadmap focused on expanding flexibility, improving user experience, and increasing blockchain coverage. Future updates will continue to introduce new payment tools, widen cryptocurrency support, and further simplify integration for developers and businesses of all sizes.
