Acquisition establishes stronghold in LATAM-gateway Miami
Creates in-house customs brokerage capabilities to strengthen customer service offerings.
ORLANDO, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Allstates WorldCargo, a leader in logistics solutions, today announced its acquisition of Promptus, LLC, a Miami-based customs broker and logistics firm focused on trade with Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.
The acquisition expands Allstates WorldCargo’s operations in Miami, an international gateway for commerce with Latin America. The transaction also adds a licensed customs brokerage division to Allstates WorldCargo’s service portfolio, allowing Allstates to offer customs clearance and compliance services to its customer base.
Promptus’ experienced team and established operations will integrate into Allstates WorldCargo’s U.S. network supporting customers with customs entry filing, tariff classification, duty management, and regulatory compliance alongside international freight services.
