— Probably Genius Opens Its Integrity Gate: 169 Articles Scored, None Passed

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA., August 27, 2026 — Probably Genius, the St. Petersburg AI visibility company, has made a working piece of its own engine public. The Integrity Gate, the scoring instrument every piece of the company’s client writing must pass before it publishes, is now a free tool at probablygenius.com/integrity-gate/ — and before opening it, the company pointed the instrument at the web. It scored 169 professional-service articles drawn from 45 domains across nine niches. Not one reached the company’s publishing floor.

The Integrity Gate grades an article from 0 to 100 across five dimensions, with a pass mark of 80 and a per-section check beneath the headline score. Three independent judge runs are taken and the median stands, under a standing rule inside the company: the judge is never the writer.

The benchmark results, published with the tool: the 169 articles averaged 45.7, with a median of 46. Zero reached 80. The market’s best article, on a median of three judge runs, scored 78 — and 84 percent of the field, 142 of 169 articles, failed the per-section check regardless of their overall score. The weakest dimension across the market was citation quality. Every article Probably Genius has published for clients under its current floor cleared 80 on the same instrument, scored by the same judge.

“This is your chance to run a piece of our engine,” said Christopher Shaw, co-founder and chief of ops at Probably Genius. “The Integrity Gate is the exact rubric client work has to pass before it goes live — not a lead-magnet version of it, the instrument itself. We pointed it at the web first, and the web did not pass. Now anyone can paste an article, or drop a URL, and get the same verdict our own writing gets: five dimensions, a per-section check, and the five fixes that would move the score most. It takes about two minutes and it is free.”

The company published the method alongside the numbers: the corpus was capped at eight articles per domain, every article was validated live before scoring, and the full measurement program — calibration, the judge selection, the 169-article corpus, and the company’s own portfolio scored on the same day — cost $22.44 in judge fees, fully logged.

The tool asks where to send the full report, shows the score on the page, and delivers the complete scorecard, every dimension, every section, and every fix, by email. It is live now at probablygenius.com/integrity-gate/.
