The partnership is meant to speed up development of SuperOne’s next-generation platform, which the company is building with AI at its core to serve sports and entertainment audiences worldwide.
SuperOne is integrating enterprise AI technologies from BytePlus. ByteDance’s consumer ecosystem, which includes TikTok and Douyin, reaches more than 2.5 billion users globally, giving SuperOne access to technology built for one of the largest digital ecosystems in the world as it develops its long-term platform strategy.
David Dybman, Chief Communication & Media Officer at SuperOne, who spent more than 20 years at Eurosport, called it a combination unlike anything he has seen:
“I have never seen a combination with the potential of SuperOne’s next-generation fan engagement platform and ByteDance’s AI capabilities and global reach to billions of fans worldwide.”
Behind the partnership is a dedicated AI research and engineering team that Digital One Solutions has assembled to work exclusively on SuperOne’s next-generation platform. The team includes AI specialists, engineers and PhD-level experts in large language models, multilingual AI, intelligent automation, video generation and enterprise-scale AI systems.
“SuperOne is building AI into the very core of its platform. Combined with ByteDance’s world-class AI technologies, this is creating one of the world’s most advanced fan engagement ecosystems. We are proud to work alongside the SuperOne team on this exciting journey,” said Paul Young, CEO of DigitalOne Solutions.
SuperOne founder Andreas Christensen said the company sees AI as foundational to where sports and entertainment fan engagement is headed:
“Artificial intelligence will become the operating system of digital experiences. At SuperOne, we are building our platform with AI at its core. Together with BytePlus and Digital One Solutions, we are creating the technology foundation for the future of sports and entertainment.”
SuperOne calls the announcement the first milestone in its long-term AI strategy and the start of its next generation of products and global expansion.
