Charlesbank Capital Partners Names New Managing Directors

BOSTON & NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Charlesbank Capital Partners is pleased to announce the promotions of Catherine Farrow, Jesse Ge, Michael McGuire, Jared Pomerance and William Reilly to Managing Director, effective July 1, 2026.


These promotions reflect the exceptional contributions this group has made to Charlesbank’s team, portfolio companies and long-term success. Throughout their time at the firm, each of these team members has demonstrated the leadership, commitment and collaborative approach that define the firm’s culture and how it drives results across its portfolio, and Charlesbank is proud to recognize their achievements with these well-deserved promotions.

Catherine Farrow

Catherine Farrow joined Charlesbank in 2024 as Head of Human Capital. In the past two years, she has elevated the firm’s initiatives around recruiting, talent management, team effectiveness, and culture and engagement. Previously, Catherine spent most of her career at Bain & Company, first as an Associate Consultant and most recently as Vice President of Talent and Operations. She earned a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Harvard University.

Jesse Ge

Jesse Ge joined Charlesbank’s Flagship Private Equity team in 2017. He focuses on Business & Consumer Services investments and has become an integral leader of the firm’s consumer investing efforts, leading a refresh of the sector strategy. Previously, Jesse worked as an Associate at Sycamore Partners and as a Consultant at Bain & Company. He is actively involved in Charlesbank’s investments in Bridges Consumer Healthcare, Front Row Group, Galls and Polyconcept. Jesse earned a BA in Economics, cum laude, from Harvard University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael McGuire

Mike McGuire joined Charlesbank’s Flagship Private Equity team in 2013 from The Parthenon Group, where he was a Principal in the private equity practice. He focuses on investments in the Technology & Technology Infrastructure sector and is actively involved in the firm’s investments in Centegix, Ivanti and symplr. He also serves as a member of United Way’s Private Equity & Venture Capital Leadership Council. Mike earned a BA in Economics and Art History, cum laude, from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jared Pomerance

Jared Pomerance joined Charlesbank’s Flagship Private Equity team in 2022 from Parthenon Capital, where he was a Vice President focused on buyouts in financial services. Previously, he worked at Pamplona Capital and at Audax Group. A member of Charlesbank’s Business & Consumer Services sector team, Jared focuses on the financial services sector and is actively involved in the firm’s investments in Overbay Capital Partners, Perspective Financial Group and Rise Growth Partners. He earned a BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Middlebury College and an MBA, with high distinction, from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

William Reilly

William Reilly joined Charlesbank in 2014, initially working on the Flagship Private Equity team. In 2016, he transitioned to the firm’s newly formed Credit strategy, where he was a member of the founding team. Prior to Charlesbank, he worked at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate in the corporate finance group, where he focused on financial and business services clients. Today he helps lead the credit underwriting and due diligence processes across sectors and plays an active role in managing numerous portfolio investments such as Cyxtera, United Road Services and Wealth Enhancement Group. William earned a BA in Economics, with honors, from Haverford College.
