WaFd, Inc. Announces Cash Dividend of 27 cents per share and Increase in Share Repurchase Authorization

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–$WAFD #banking–Today, the Board of Directors of WaFd, Inc. (Nasdaq: WAFD) (the โ€œCompanyโ€), announced a regular cash dividend of 27 cents per share. The dividend will be paid February 27, 2026, to common shareholders of record as of February 13, 2026. This will be the Companyโ€™s 172nd consecutive quarterly cash dividend.


The Board also increased the number of shares authorized for repurchase by 4.5 million, bringing the currently authorized amount up to 10 million shares. Over the last seven quarters the Company has repurchased 5.8 million shares at a weighted average price of $29.45, this represents 7% of the shares outstanding on March 31, 2024.

WaFd, Inc. is the parent company of WaFd Bank, a federally insured Washington state chartered commercial bank that operates branches in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, and California.
