MEDIACOM PARK, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mediacom Communications is proud to announce that three of its esteemed executives—Jerry Lambert, Joseph Appio, and Sheila Hall—have been inducted into the prestigious Cable TV Pioneers.
These accomplished leaders were formally honored during the 59th Annual Cable TV Pioneer Club Banquet, held Sunday evening in Washington, D.C. Their induction recognizes decades of dedicated service, innovation, and leadership in the cable and telecommunications industry.

Jerry Lambert currently serves as Group Vice President, Legal Affairs at Mediacom. He joined the company in 2011 and brings with him a wealth of experience dating back to 1989. Over the course of his career, Jerry has held key legal and regulatory roles at several major cable operators, including Prime Cable, Charter Communications, and Bresnan Communications.
Joseph Appio is a 43-year veteran of the cable television industry. Throughout his career, Joseph has held various senior positions, including Assistant Vice President and Director of Financial Operations for United Artist Cable Corporation, and Vice President of Operations, COO, and Partner at US Cable Corporation. He joined Mediacom in 2012 and currently serves as Group Vice President, Programming/Distribution.
Sheila Hall began her career in the cable industry as a Customer Service Representative for Austin Cablevision in 1985. As the company transitioned to Time Warner Cable, Sheila steadily advanced through the ranks, taking on roles such as Credit and Collections Manager, Director of Business Operations, and eventually Vice President of Operations. Sheila joined Mediacom in 2012 and currently serves as Vice President of Technical Operations. She continues to lead with the same passion and commitment that have defined her nearly four-decade-long career.
The Cable TV Pioneers, founded in 1966, celebrates professionals who have played pivotal roles in shaping the cable television landscape. Membership is awarded to individuals with at least 20 years of service who have demonstrated significant contributions to the industry and their communities.
