It’s easy to understand why this happens. Off-the-shelf AI solutions promise quick wins: faster insights, automated decisions, lower costs. They can be implemented in days, not months. But while they offer convenience, they rarely deliver the consistency or reliability enterprises truly need.
I’ve seen countless examples where organisations integrate an AI model into a workflow, only to discover later that outputs fluctuate, results contradict human judgment, and explanations are opaque. The result is a loss of confidence — not just in the technology, but in the teams that introduced it.
That’s because many companies are skipping a crucial step: AI quality assurance (QA).
