Recognition in annual guide continues for 22nd consecutive year
DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dallas trial lawyer Richard A. “Dick” Sayles, founder of Dallas-based Sayles Law Firm, has achieved another milestone by being recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer for 2025 in business litigation. Initially published in 2003, Texas Super Lawyers annually compiles a list of the top 5% of all lawyers in the state, based on peer nominations and extensive research by editorial staff.
Mr. Sayles has earned a place on the list each of the past 22 years, and during that time has also been named among the Top 10 and Top 100 Super Lawyers in Texas.

Among his recent court victories was a unanimous verdict following a lengthy battle over the redevelopment of the Collin Creek Mall in Plano. A Collin County judge issued a final judgment in the high-profile case, confirming the June 2024 verdict in favor of Mr. Sayles’ client. Mr. Sayles served as lead counsel for a third-party defendant and the ruling cleared the way for continued redevelopment of the property. In addition, Mr. Sayles secured a victory against a former CEO for violating non-compete agreements and successfully defended against a $165 million wrongful death claim.
