BeautyCares Online Auction Now Open with 100+ Luxury Items Up for Bid
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#beautycares—Look Good Feel Better, the global charitable organization dedicated to serving people in cancer treatment through its groundbreaking workshop program, welcomed stars of stage and screen, beauty industry icons and next generation influencers to its annual BeautyCares DreamBall Gala at New York’s Gotham Hall. Hosted by entertainment icon, Melissa Gilbert, the Gala recognized cancer survivor and Broadway star Kara Lindsey as 2025 BeautyCares Survivor Advocate for Look Good Feel Better.
The annual BeautyCares DreamBall raises funds to support Look Good Feel Better, the program that provides free workshops to help people in cancer treatment and recovery address the physical and appearance related side-effects that often accompany their treatment. In total, last night’s event raised nearly $1 million, which organizers hope to top with proceeds from the annual BeautyCares online auction. Open through October 15th the auction features exclusive designer accessories, beauty products, one-of-a-kind experiences and luxury travel packages.
Founded in 1989, Look Good Feel Better has served more than 2.5 million cancer patients in 27 countries. This year’s celebration centered on the strength of survivorship and the community of support that surrounds and uplifts those in cancer treatment. The honorees included:

A Night of Surprises and Performance
Broadway performers, Krysta Rodriguez, herself a breast cancer survivor and the 2017 BeautyCares Survivor Advocate and Caroline Bowman, who starred opposite Kara Lindsay in Wicked on Broadway, surprised the assembled guests with musical performances dedicated to Lindsay. The night was capped off with a show-stopping operatic performance by Britian’s Got Talent finalist, Jasmine Rice La Bieja.

The BeautyCares DreamBall was followed by DreamBall After Dark, the signature after-hours event hosted by BeautyCares NextGen, a committee representing the modern generation of beauty and personal care industry leaders, supporters, and advocates for the Look Good Feel Better program.

Look Good Feel Better is a collaboration of the Look Good Feel Better Foundation of the Personal Care Products Council, and the Professional Beauty Association.
