FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Smith Currie Oles LLP announced today that B. Michael Clark, an experienced lawyer known for successfully representing clients across all areas of construction law, has joined the firmās Fort Lauderdale office as a partner.
Clark joins Smith Currie Oles after more than 17 years at Siegfried Rivera, where he was a shareholder. His clients range from large developers to small suppliers of construction-related materials. Clark brings deep experience in issues involving breach of contract, liens, bonds, delay claims, bid protests, insurance coverage disputes, and property insurance claims. Notably, he was part of a team that obtained a $33.5 million settlement for Miami Dade College stemming from the collapse of its West Campus parking garage during construction.

Clark is board certified in construction law by the Florida Bar. Clark earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami. He received his B.S. from Wright State University. Clark has been invited to lecture at the University of Miami, been recognized as a āSuper Lawyerā by Florida Super Lawyers since 2018, and has been recognized by Chambers and Partners for his work in construction law.
