Presented at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Tampa, the award celebrates companies making significant strides in innovation, technology, workplace culture, sustainability, and product development.
Sharrow Marine’s recognition this year comes after a year of major expansion that reflects the company’s relentless pursuit of innovation. Highlights include the launch of the Sharrow MX-A™, the company’s first aluminum propeller, designed for 40–200 HP engines and engineered to make Sharrow’s award-winning performance technology more accessible to the most widely used class of recreational boats. Sharrow became an approved supplier through ADS, enabling streamlined acquisition by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, and partnered with Anduril Industries to integrate Sharrow propellers into Copperhead-class autonomous undersea vehicles. Additionally, the company opened a new 60,000 sq. ft. production facility in Harper Woods, Michigan, and relocated its headquarters to Newlab at Michigan Central in Detroit, where it plans to develop and expand the Sharrow Propeller™ technology into new industries, including aerospace, defense, HVAC, and energy.
