Abby Miller joins as Chief Customer Officer to accelerate customer experience; and Tara Haas joins to build for scale
BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Semrush (NYSE: SEMR), the leading online visibility management SaaS platform, today announced the appointment of two leaders to its C-suite: Abby Miller as Chief Customer Officer and Tara Haas as Chief of Staff. This strategic move reinforces the company’s commitment to building a world-class customer experience for current and future customers and to scale its operations globally.
A Proven Leader in Customer Growth
Miller joins Semrush with a track record of transforming customer organizations into engines for growth. Having served as SVP of Client Experience at LifeSpeak and at LastPass, she brings extensive experience in building customer-centric teams within the technology sector, and she is known for designing customer experiences that turn new users into long-term advocates. Her work has consistently driven measurable gains in retention, loyalty, and expansion across both SMB and enterprise clients.
As Chief Customer Officer, Miller will focus on creating a unified and seamless customer journey, from onboarding and product adoption to ongoing support and success realization.
“With the online marketing industry rapidly changing, Semrush continues to innovate and adapt to new customer needs, and I am committed to our mission of making online visibility easy and helping our customers succeed,” said Abby Miller. “My goal is to build a best-in-class customer success organization that serves as a trusted advisor, helping our customers unlock the full potential of the Semrush platform to reach their business goals.”
An Industry Veteran in Scaling Organizations
As Semrush’s global footprint continues to expand, the complexity of its business also increases—along with its potential for scaled growth. Haas, an industry veteran with a strong background in product management, innovation, and marketing, brings both vision and operational expertise to drive forward improvements across the business. With previous experience as a Chief of Staff at both LogMeIn and Dashlane, Haas has a proven ability to support Semrush’s ambitious goals with seamless execution.
As Chief of Staff, Haas will lead the charge in strengthening operational excellence and strategic alignment, laying the groundwork for effective scaling.
Haas shared, “This is an exciting time to join Semrush. With the industry changing rapidly, and a leading product in the market, I see great opportunities for growth. By focusing on operational structure, systems, and processes in place, we’ll be able to move at full speed, at the global level.”
A Full Stack Leadership Team
“We’re at a pivotal point in our growth journey, and having Abby and Tara on board is a direct investment in our future,” said Bill Wagner, CEO of Semrush. “Abby’s deep expertise in customer-centric strategies and Tara’s proven ability to drive operational excellence are important as we gear up for our next chapter of growth, especially in delivering exceptional value to our customers.”
