In her new role, Autry will advise boards, CEOs, and senior executives on operational, strategic, and leadership priorities as-well-as executive search and succession planning initiatives. This initiative expands Alder Bowman’s service offerings while providing access to her expertise acquired while leading for-profit, nonprofit, academic, and faith-based healthcare organizations.
Autry’s consulting experience includes advising health systems, hospitals, and public-sector stakeholders on initiatives, including performance improvement, physician practice enhancement, and transaction-related support. She also supports boards and organizations in strengthening operational effectiveness, driving growth, improving recruitment and retention, and evaluates services in underserved communities to help address critical needs and advance sustainable improvement.
Recently, Autry served in dual leadership roles within Henry Ford Health as Senior Vice President/Chief Executive Officer of Central Market and President/Chief Executive Officer of Henry Ford Allegiance Health. During this time, she led efforts to build a strong regional presence aligned with community needs while working closely with partners across the Jackson Health Network, medical group leadership, physicians, department chairs, service line teams, and system leaders. Her work improved care coordination across the continuum, strengthened alignment between primary and specialty services, and supported access to care within the region.
Before joining Henry Ford Health in 2019, Autry served as Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the largest multi-site facility within the Lutheran Health Network. She has also held senior corporate and executive leadership roles at prominent institutions including DMC/Sinai-Grace Hospital, Morehouse School of Medicine, Mount Carmel East Hospital, Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital, Erlanger Health System, and the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
Autry also brings academic and advisory experience, including service as a Professor in Healthcare Management at Franklin University and senior strategy leadership roles at Morehouse School of Medicine. In addition, she serves as an Advisory Board Member for Humanity Talent Network, supporting expanded access and advancement for diverse executive leaders in healthcare and life sciences.
