ORLANDO, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Outcomes® announced today that it has recently launched its Vaccines Module, one of four Premium Modules introduced this year, delivering a fully integrated and modernized immunization experience for pharmacies. The module replaces the legacy PrescribeWellness Vaccines solution, bringing vaccine opportunity identification and state IIS (Immunization Information System) reporting natively into the Outcomes platform.
Built directly into the Outcomes platform, the Vaccines Module enables pharmacists to identify immunization eligibility opportunities based on CDC and ACIP guidelines while drawing on both pharmacy management system (PMS) and state IIS data. The enhanced workflow integrates immunization tasks into the same Outcomes Queue pharmacists use daily for CMR and TIP opportunities, creating a single, cohesive view of each patient’s care needs.
“This enhancement represents another important step in Outcomes’ mission to unify the pharmacy experience,” said Jude Dieterman, chief executive officer of Outcomes. “By integrating immunization management directly into our core platform, we’re helping pharmacies unlock new clinical and revenue opportunities while strengthening their connection to patients, providers, and public health systems. It’s a great example of how innovation and feedback from our network continue to shape the future of pharmacy care.”
The module simplifies a historically complex process. Pharmacists no longer need to manually track age-based eligibility criteria or query separate systems to determine whether patients received vaccines elsewhere. Automatic IIS reporting eliminates the need to log into state sites to submit or correct data, while new workflows guide users through any registry rejections quickly and accurately.
In addition, the Outcomes patient profile now includes a Vaccine History drawer, allowing pharmacists to review all vaccine dispenses in one place and generate standardized pre-screening forms, Vaccine Information Statements (VISs), and patient printouts, as well as fax templates to share with primary care physicians. Together, these improvements reduce administrative time, support compliance with timely reporting requirements, and create new revenue opportunities for pharmacies providing immunization services.
“Our customers were clear about what they needed from a modern immunization solution, something intuitive, connected, and built around their real-world workflow,” said Alex Miguel, chief clinical and product officer at Outcomes. “By integrating vaccine eligibility, documentation, and reporting directly into the Outcomes platform, we’ve eliminated manual steps, reduced compliance risk, and given pharmacists more time to focus on patient care.”
Pharmacists have already reported measurable efficiency gains and higher vaccination throughput. “By managing vaccine tasks, submissions, and reporting all in one place, our pharmacy saves an estimated three hours each week. It’s like having an extra team member keeping everything on track—something that would be impossible to do manually,” said Yogi Kao, supervising pharmacist at Save Mor Drugs.
The Outcomes Vaccines Module is available now to Outcomes Premium customers.
