OptimHire unveils new AI job search agent to help applicants apply to 1,000+ jobs in minutes

OptimHire’s new Job Copilot tool promises to save job seekers hundreds of hours by handling the application process end-to-end

Today, the AI hiring startup OptimHire launched Job Copilot, an autonomous job-seeking agent that finds, applies to, and follows up on jobs for candidates around the clock.

Designed to ease the strain of spending hundreds of hours while applying to jobs, Job Copilot can submit up to 1,000 applications in under five minutes, tailors job applications by customizing resumes and generating role-specific cover letters, and even follows up with recruiters on behalf of the candidate.

“The release of Job Copilot represents a breakthrough – not just for OptimHire, but for the recruiting industry as a whole,” said Larry (Lakshmi) Kodali, CEO and Founder of OptimHire. “When coupled with our existing AI recruiter platform, we’ve built an end-to-end hiring ecosystem that supports the individual needs of candidates and companies alike and delivers at unparalleled speeds.”

From job board fatigue to full automation

Unlike traditional job boards, which require candidates to manually browse, click, and customize every application, Job Copilot works like a personalized AI assistant. In addition to monitoring OptimHire’s internal roster of talent-seeking companies, the new tool constantly scans third-party job sites, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and company career pages, to find and surface roles that match a candidate’s goals and qualifications.

Then, using natural language prompts and machine learning, the agent personalizes each submission, automatically updating resumes, generating targeted cover letters, and logging follow-ups. Candidates can even set preferences, like remote-only roles or salary thresholds, to help them find an ideal role among 300,000 potential companies.

“Job Copilot is outcome-focused,” said Kodali. “It’s built to help you land a job faster, not just surface listings.”

Built for a new generation of job seekers

With AI now deeply integrated into how companies source candidates and hire them, OptimHire is betting that candidates will need equally intelligent tools to keep up. The company claims its agent saves 100+ hours per job search and makes candidates 10x more efficient in reaching relevant roles.

While OptimHire originally focused on the tech sector, Job Copilot is designed for broad use across industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and finance. On the flipside, the company also announced its partnership with CareerBuilder + Monster to reach even more candidates, bringing its database to 200 million job seekers across the industry. OptimHire’s AI recruiter is already in use by companies like Google and Dropbox, and the company claims it’s helping companies slash hiring costs by 80%.

The moves are part of the company’s broader vision to build a hassle-free, end-to-end hiring ecosystem where AI works for both sides of the market.
