Olson Grimsley Elevates 3 Accomplished Litigators to Partner

Promotions bolster firm’s high-stakes trial expertise

DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Olson Grimsley is pleased to announce the elevation of Isabel Broer, Samara Hoose and Bianca Miyata to firm partnership, effective immediately.

These promotions recognize the exceptional trial and appellate expertise each attorney brings to the firm’s litigation practice.

“We are thrilled to welcome Isabel, Samara, and Bianca into the partnership,” said firm partner Sean Grimsley. “Their demonstrated courtroom excellence and diverse backgrounds in public service and high-stakes litigation strengthen our commitment to delivering the very best advocacy for our clients.”

After joining Olson Grimsley on day one, Ms. Broer has taken key witnesses in three trials, one of them a major antitrust victory. Before joining the firm, she served as a senior assistant attorney general in the K-12 Education Unit at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. Ms. Broer graduated from Harvard Law School and then clerked for Judge Christine Arguello of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and Justice Monica Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Ms. Hoose has distinguished herself as a dynamic and accomplished trial lawyer at Olson Grimsley. She has played key roles on multiple trial teams, including the team that secured a first-in-the-nation products liability victory resulting in a $60 million compensatory damages verdict. Before joining Olson Grimsley, Ms. Hoose handled high-stakes commercial disputes at Bartlit Beck LLP. A graduate of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, she clerked for Judge Mary Schroeder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Ms. Miyata leads some of Olson Grimsley’s most impactful cases and in one instance, examined a key plaintiff in federal court to obtain an injunction against ICE’s unlawful warrantless arrest practices. She has extensive trial and appellate experience, including serving as a senior assistant attorney general in the Consumer Fraud Unit of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office where she led high-profile multi-state litigation against big tech companies. She has also argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Ms. Miyata earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and clerked for several judges on the Colorado Court of Appeals, including Judge Gale Miller.
