Inaugural list recognizes Cheung as one of the year’s most influential individuals in global health
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NextPoint Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing a new class of precision immuno-oncology and tumor-directed therapeutics targeting the novel B7-H7/HHLA2 axis, announced today that Chief Executive Officer Ivan Cheung has been named to the 2024 TIME100 Health List.
The inaugural TIME100 Health list recognizes the 100 most influential individuals in health and medicine who have made significant contributions to improving global health outcomes, advancing medical research and driving innovation in healthcare delivery.

He previously served as Eisai’s U.S. CEO, where he guided the launch of the anti-cancer therapy lenvatinib in a range of tumor types. Importantly, Mr. Cheung led the first-ever full U.S. approval for lecanemab, a monoclonal antibody therapeutic to treat the underlying pathophysiology of early-stage Alzheimer’s disease and helped steward the reimbursement access from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for this class of medicines.
