Butler will oversee the strategic vision to build a scalable technology architecture that supports the firm’s evolving business lines
MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ChiefTechnologyOfficer—Nepsis®, Inc. (“Nepsis®”), a national financial advisor and investment management firm, today announced Amanda Butler has joined the firm as its first chief technology officer (CTO). Butler has served as an outsourced consultant for Nepsis® for over a decade, contributing significantly to scaling the firm’s Clarity Roadmap® and expansion of its Salesforce platform. In joining Nepsis®, Butler will focus on enhancing and growing the firm’s technology stack to further integrate its wealth management and tax services business lines and ensure it stays ahead of the technology curve.
In her new role, Butler will lead Nepsis®’ technology vision and strategy as well as oversee the firm’s technical infrastructure. She will also manage the ongoing development of the proprietary Nepsis® app, which will enable clients to access the firm’s media, manage their financial profile, interact with their advisor and monitor their financial health in real time. Further, she will manage technology vendor partnerships and collaborate with the design team on product development to introduce new Nepsis® offerings to the market.

Butler brings over two decades of technology experience. Most recently, she was principal at Mosaik Consulting, LLC, where she collaborated with stakeholders to determine areas of technology improvement and boost operational efficiency. In addition, she designed the firm’s architecture and data model, and led development teams through implementation of said solutions. She started off her career as an information systems manager at Telaurus Communications. Later, she was appointed the director of wealth management at Redkite LLC, which was subsequently acquired by LiquidHub, where she continued her leadership as a director.

The addition of Butler as CTO follows a year of impressive growth for Nepsis®. The firm recently acquired full-service accounting firm Sevenich, Butler, Gerlach & Brazil, Ltd, its first acquisition. In addition, Nepsis® has been building out its workforce, including the strategic hires of Ed Stober as senior wealth advisor and Trenton Hazen as retirement plan specialist.
