AI-powered care meets integrative medicine and survivor community.
THRIVE = Tailored Healing and Recovery through Individualized Vitality Enhancement
SINGAPORE & ROCHESTER, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Medicia is announcing today an agreement with Mayo Clinic to develop THRIVE+ — a digital health cancer survivorship program that unites Mayo Clinic’s integrative medicine expertise with Medicia’s AI-enabled care infrastructure. The program seeks to deliver structured recovery pathways, lifestyle interventions, intelligent monitoring, and peer-to-peer support with the goal to create a comprehensive approach to life after cancer treatment.
THRIVE+ aims to address the unique clinical and emotional challenges that patients face after active cancer treatment. The goal of the platform is to leverage Medicia’s dynamic intelligent care modules and while tailoring the program to the U.S. clinical context through collaboration with Mayo Clinic’s oncology and innovation teams. Examples of potential personalized care modules include:
- Late Side Effect Management – Using Vigilant™ and Clarity™, survivors can log and track symptoms for real-time, phase-matched education and relief tools.
- Surveillance – Developing continuous AI-driven monitoring to detect recurrence risks and emotional distress early.
- Check-Up & Monitoring Schedule – EMR-synced navigation via Savanne™ designed to keep patients and providers aligned.
- Lifestyle Personalization – Seeking to curate tailored content across 12 domains, from nutrition and movement to mental health and resilience.
- Community Connectivity – In addition to connecting the patient to their care teams and in the community setting, Circles™ was created to offer a secure, diagnosis-specific social network with the opportunity to connect survivors and caregivers sharing a similar experience, reducing isolation and building emotional strength.
The collaboration seeks to combine Mayo Clinic’s expertise, integrative medicine approaches and clinical workflows into Medicia’s intelligent cancer care modules with the goal of creating co-developed digital care plans, tools for patients, and structured feedback mechanisms for care teams.
With five recovery phases—from stabilization to renewal—THRIVE+ seeks to deliver personalized guidance, care team connectivity, and practical tools to help cancer survivors. Survivorship is not just about living longer but living better.
