Media Advisory – Launch of the Artemis II mission: only opportunity for media accreditation

LONGUEUIL, QC, Nov. 18, 2025 /CNW/ – Media wishing to cover the events associated with the launch of the historic Artemis II mission at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, in Florida, must make an accreditation request.

Media must be accredited in order to attend pre-launch events and the launch itself. This will be the only opportunity to submit an accreditation request, so do it now if you plan to attend, even if you are not yet 100% sure.

Accreditation requests: https://media.ksc.nasa.gov
Deadline:
Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 11:59 pm ET

For more information, please consult NASA’s media advisory. If you have any questions about accreditation, please contact [email protected].

Preparations for the Artemis II launch are underway. NASA plans to make a first launch attempt in early 2026. Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will make history as the first Canadian to go on a mission around the Moon. This will be the first crewed flight test of the Space Launch System rocket and the Orion spacecraft.

Media who wish to speak with a CSA expert or find out more about Canada’s role in Moon exploration are asked to contact the Media Relations Office.

The CSA is also organizing a launch livestream at the John H. Chapman Space Centre. Details about the event will be provided closer to the official date of the launch.
