Bharat started as a Software Engineer at the company and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer two years later. Eager to expand his expertise, he left Germany to study at Arizona State University in the United States, where he earned two Master’s degrees with a 4.0 GPA: one in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and another in Computer Science.

Following his graduation, Bharat was hired as a software developer at the Nielsen Company, where he worked with large-scale web applications, cloud computing with Amazon Web Services, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies that most know little about. Bharat played a crucial role in several of the company’s projects and contributed to modernizing the tech stack and dictating the software architecture, increasing the effectiveness of the data collection process.
One of Bharat’s most significant achievements at Nielsen was developing and deploying a sophisticated and intricate microservice-based web application for panelist data collection at the company.
To complete this advanced project, he created and incorporated various complex technologies, including fraud detection systems and serverless microservices. Following Bharat’s success, the data collection process of Nielsen Company was significantly enhanced, boosting both productivity and efficiency.

A few years later, Bharat took a significant step in his career by joining Amazon as a Software Development Engineer II in Santa Clara, California. There, he designs and develops large-scale software orchestration systems, works with cutting-edge technologies, and solves complex issues on an internet scale. He has already made several important contributions to the company.
Among other accomplishments, Bharat has helped prevent inventory leakage and designed a compliance enforcement system for Amazon’s inventory. By implementing a unique real-time monitoring system that evaluates about two million inventory items daily for regulatory compliance, Bharat prevented inventory leakage of about 30,000 items per month.
The targeted compliance enforcement system designed by Bharat, which only targeted inventory affected by compliance criteria and preserved sellable products, enhanced the company’s productivity and profit. Bharat had to handle complex technological intricacies and rely on his extensive education and experience to create innovative solutions for both systems.
