Microsoft generative AI technologies help KPMG Legal professionals redefine delivery of digital client solutions.
KPMG Law and Global Legal Services have announced a significant expansion of their work in the legal services space, building on the longstanding global alliance between KPMG and Microsoft and the joint commitment to AI innovation announced by Bill Thomas, Global Chairman and CEO, KPMG International and Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, Microsoft in July 2023. KPMG is utilizing Azure OpenAI Service to help define how KPMG firms’ legal professionals will help to deliver next-generation technology solutions for clients, while also enhancing the capabilities of their colleagues.
The collaboration combines KPMG firms’ market-leading, multi-disciplinary expertise and consulting offerings across legal operations, technology, data, and cyber security with Microsoft Azure and AI technologies. KPMG Digital Gateway for Law is one example of a technology platform that runs on Microsoft Azure – a practical illustration of how KPMG professionals are using Microsoft’s transformational artificial intelligence (AI) technology to offer increased value to clients.
KPMG firms’ suite of services are designed to offer complete access to legal support framed in practicality – preparing clients to adopt and implement generative AI within their legal teams and helping those teams advise on how to navigate the shifting legal and regulatory landscape.
