Sanders Roberts law firm credits jury decision that negates shakedown efforts by plaintiff and her lawyers
LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Justinsanders–After a thorough and closely-watched trial, a jury has returned a verdict finding that Leland T. Wayne, the music producer known as Metro Boomin, not liable, rejecting all of the claims made by his accuser, Vanessa LeMaistre.
The decision by the jury on September 25 follows nearly a year of civil litigation pursued by Ms. LeMaistre, who was the only witness called by her lawyers in her failed attempt to extract millions of dollars from Mr. Wayne for false claims of sexual misconduct.

The very large amount of money and time wasted based on someone else’s greed, coupled with the incalculable amount of money and opportunities that did not make it to me or my team during this time. ‘Metro Boomin’ is more than a stage name or family friendly brand but a superhero in the eyes of many children and adults around the world. I’m sure I don’t have to put into anymore words how devastating these false claims must have been to many. Lastly, the trauma my family and I have endured during this dark period can never be forgiven. I legally adopted my youngest brother and sister and am active in their lives and at their schools so just imagine what they have been through in a time where almost any kid from the age nine and up has access to a smart phone or tablet.
