RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Fortune magazine and Great Place To Work® named Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) a Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care™ for the fourth year in a row.
IEHP ranked No. 28 on this year’s list, joining health care companies recognized by the publication for fostering a positive, uplifting environment with opportunities for personal and career development.
“It’s an incredible honor to once again be recognized for our organization’s mission-driven work and highly engaged team culture,” said IEHP Chief Executive Officer Jarrod McNaughton. “And after 29 years, our commitment to doing the right thing for our members, providers and community remains as strong as ever.”
The highly competitive Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Health Care™ list is determined by Great Place To Work®‘s Trust Index™ Survey, which evaluates and certifies thousands of organizations in the country’s largest ongoing annual workforce study. In June, IEHP was certified as a Great Place To Work® for the fifth consecutive year.
“This recognition is truly a reflection of our team members and the heart they bring to IEHP every day,” said Chief People Officer Supriya Sood. “A great organization is not built solely on the work, but also on people who care for one another and believe in the difference that we can make together.”
Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of an organization’s workplace experience. Those selected for the list were chosen based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of their job title, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status and other demographic identifier.
More than 3,600 IEHP team members—over 90% of the health plan’s workforce—completed the survey, with 88% agreeing it is a great place to work. Results also showed that 95% surveyed believe IEHP is a physically safe place to work; has special unique benefits and treats people fairly, regardless of their sexual orientation; and employees are made to feel welcome from Day One.
“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Health Care,” said Great Place To Work Chief Executive Officer Michael C. Bush. “In every industry, our research shows that investing in people drives productivity and higher revenues. When trust levels are high in an organization, people don’t fear AI—they embrace it.”

About the Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care List
Great Place To Work selected the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care by analyzing confidential survey responses from more than 1.3 million employees, representing the experiences of more than 8.4 million employees in 2024 and 2025. Of those responses, nearly 228,000 were from employees at Great Place To Work Certified companies in the health care industry, and this ranking is based on that feedback. Company rankings are derived from 60 employee experience questions within the Great Place To Work Trust Index™ Survey. Companies with 10 to 999 employees competed in the small and medium category. Companies with 1,000 or more employees were considered for the large category. Read the full methodology.
