Fully Integrated Embodied AI Device Targets Up to $1 Million in Crowdfunding
HONG KONG–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#CES2017–HooRii today announced that it will launch its Kickstarter campaign for ClawStage beginning on Sunday, March 15. The campaign shall position the product as a fully integrated, ready-to-run embodied AI device designed for creators, educators, developers, and technology enthusiasts.
The campaign is targeting up to $1 million in crowdfunding commitments.
ClawStage represents HooRii’s next step in bringing artificial intelligence into the physical world. Through their digital “avatar-in-a box,” ClawStage creates a 3D physical presence using any form the user wishes to create that combines expressive motion, environmental sensing, and an integrated display system, effectively transforming AI from a purely digital experience into a tangible, interactive presence.
A Fully Integrated, Ready-to-Run Experience
According HooRii Co-Founder Roy Chen, the ClawStage Standard Integrated Version, which includes a built-in Raspberry Pi module, comes fully assembled and pre-configured within the structure of the device. Once initiated, the configuration will deliver a true out-of-the-box experience with no additional hardware required.
The anticipated Manufacturers’ Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the Standard Integrated Version is $399.
For Kickstarter supporters, HooRii will offer a limited Super Early Backer tier at $279, providing a meaningful discount for early adopters while maintaining strong long-term retail positioning. As the campaign progresses, subsequent tiers will step up incrementally toward MSRP.
In addition to the fully integrated model, HooRii will also offer a Developer Hardware Edition at an MSRP of $219. This version includes the complete ClawStage hardware platform—incorporating display, motion system, and environmental sensing capabilities—but is designed for advanced users who prefer to integrate their own computational configuration. The developer edition will be framed specifically for technical users and will not be positioned as a parallel mainstream version.
This refined approach ensures that ClawStage is clearly understood as a complete embodied AI product, rather than a modular kit with multiple available configurations which will strengthen consumer clarity and improve the product’s overall market positioning.
