DES MOINES, Iowa–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) recently re-appointed Heather Piper, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation (HCRC), to its Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council) representing the state of Hawaii. Piper begins her three-year term on January 1, 2024.
The role of the Advisory Council is to advise the FHLB Des Moines Board of Directors about the affordable housing and community lending needs of the Bankās district.

Since 2015, Piper has worked for HCRC, a Community Development Financial Institution, whose purpose is to provide financing, training and consulting services to impact affordable housing, community and economic development in the state of Hawaii. Prior to joining the HCRC, she held various senior leadership roles in credit and commercial banking for banks in Hawaii.
