Great Scott Media: A Scott Bolden Providing Sought-After Legal Commentary About Top Issues in the News on BBC News, CNN, Capital Report, Fox, MSNBC, NewsNation & Other Platforms

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AScottBoldenA Scott Bolden, a top defense attorney, has expanded his presence as a leading legal and political commentator on white collar crime cases, racial injustice and the 2024 presidential election on BBC News, CNN, Capital Report, Fox News, MSNBC, NewsNation and other media outlets. As an attorney, racial justice crusader and political analyst, Bolden equips audiences to seek equal justice under the law for all Americans.

On a recent segment of MSNBC, he discussed SCOTUS taking up Trump’s 2024 eligibility to be on the primary ballot in Colorado. “The arguments will be heard on February 8, but how long until we get a decision? With the Colorado primary being in March, timing is everything. Our democracy is at stake.”

Discussing Trump’s presidential immunity case and DEI on NewsNation’s The Hill, his view was that the President has zero role over the Constitution, in the transfer of power, and the certification of these delegates and these votes from the states.

“The argument that somehow, he’s immune from criminal conduct where he only has immunity for acts under the Presidential rubric of leadership…we’ve never had a President who has incited an insurrection like that. And that is why they are going to lose there. I predict they will lose in the U.S. Supreme Court, too. Because the Federal Court in Georgia and the Federal Court here have ruled against him already, saying that you are not a King. No one person is above the law.”

Weighing in on whether Claudine Gay was pressured to resign as Harvard’s president due to issues relating to DEI, he said: “DEI has never been about hiring someone in a protected class because they are in a protected class. Their competence, capabilities and being qualified has never left the table or the agenda when it comes to DEI. DEI is about leveling the playing field with competence in mind and giving my community of color an opportunity, they’ve been denied for 200 or 400 years.”

The prominent white-collar defense lawyer, Democratic fund-raiser, and Washington DC power broker often brings together elite business leaders, lawyers, investors, and political influencers to support rising political stars.

Last November he held a fund raiser for Fulton County, Georgia district attorney Fani Willis. In December, he organized one for New York Attorney General Letitia James at the Waldorf Astoria (formerly Trump International Hotel) on Pennsylvania Avenue.
