Coming from a nationally recognized law firm in Northeast Florida, the seven new attorneys joining the firm include James F. “Jim” Moseley, Jr., B.C.S., Shea M. Moser, Joni A. Moser is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, and multiple federal district courts across both states. He earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, and his B.S.B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida.
Poitier is an experienced litigator providing focused, strategic defense in maritime, railroad, trucking, and criminal/white-collar matters. She represents corporate clients and insurers in complex civil litigation, including product claims, transportation-sector liability, railroad law, and serious personal injury cases, managing disputes from investigation through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts.
Poitier began her legal career as a prosecutor in Florida’s 4th Judicial Circuit, where she tried more than 40 jury cases. Leveraging this depth of courtroom experience, Poitier applies a results-driven approach to high-stakes matters involving catastrophic loss in highly regulated industries.
Poitier is admitted to practice in Florida and Georgia and holds an AV-Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Buhler brings more than four decades of maritime industry experience and over 30 years of sophisticated legal practice to clients navigating complex transactions and litigation. Board-certified by The Florida Bar in both Admiralty and Maritime Law and International Law, Buhler offers a global perspective on maritime law, intermodal transportation, international commercial disputes, and cross-border regulatory matters. He advises and represents clients in shipping, trade, environmental compliance, and government contracting before federal and state courts and administrative bodies worldwide.
Buhler’s work has taken him across the globe, representing a diverse mix of U.S. and foreign clients in maritime and commercial sectors. Active in thought leadership and policy development, he participates in national and international legal organizations and has lectured abroad, including at the Universities of Hamburg and Cologne, on maritime law, intermodal transportation, and U.S. civil procedure. His commitment to public service is reflected in leadership roles with nonprofit and civic organizations, as well as his ongoing academic research in maritime regulatory enforcement.

Robert B. “Bob” Parrish, Of Counsel
Parrish is a veteran trial lawyer with more than 45 years of experience in maritime, environmental, and complex civil litigation. He represents shipowners, insurers, manufacturers, and businesses in high-stakes disputes, including vessel collisions, marine insurance coverage, environmental claims, and catastrophic personal injury and death cases. His practice also includes class action defense and product liability, where he has served as lead local trial counsel for one of the nation’s largest tobacco companies.
Parrish has led clients through every phase of complex litigation in both state and federal courts, often involving matters with significant financial and reputational stakes. He has handled natural resource damage assessments, oil spill and pollution litigation, and coral reef damage cases, and has played a key role in oil spill and casualty response networks. Known for his trial-tested, practical approach, he blends deep industry knowledge with strategic judgment to deliver effective outcomes in matters where regulatory, environmental, and commercial risks intersect.

Trippe is a seasoned trial lawyer, counselor, and legal executive with decades of experience at the highest levels of government, industry, and private practice. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, transportation law, government practice, and alternative dispute resolution, guiding clients through complex disputes and regulatory challenges with practical judgment and proven insight.
He previously served as chief counsel of the Federal Aviation Administration and as senior in-house attorney for one of the nation’s largest freight railroads, where he handled high-risk litigation and transportation regulatory matters. Trippe also served as general counsel to former Florida Governor (now U.S. Senator) Rick Scott and former Florida Attorney General (now U.S. Senator) Ashley Moody, advising on legal and policy issues affecting the State of Florida. This combination of complex litigation experience, transportation sector knowledge, and public service gives him a unique perspective in helping clients resolve high-stakes matters.
A Florida Supreme Court-certified civil mediator and experienced arbitrator, Trippe is admitted to practice law in Florida, Massachusetts, and New York.
