Fasano Longevity Conference Covers Politics, Investments, and Medical Research

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Aging–Two hundred longevity professionals attended the 20th Annual Fasano Longevity Conference in Washington, DC. The conference, which was in hybrid format, with about 170 attending in person and 30 attending virtually, focused on a wide range of topics bearing on longevity markets, medical research, and the primary elections.


The conference opened with an incisive analysis by keynote speaker, Fred Yang ā€“ CEO of Hart Research, of a range of Opinion Polls Bearing on the Outcome of Upcoming Presidential Primaries and the Ensuing Elections. Mr. Yang was followed by Dr. Adam Sonabend, a Neurosurgeon at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, who presented the results of breakthrough research on the Use of an Implantable Ultrasound Device to Open the Blood-Brain Barrier to Treat Deadly Brain Cancers.

The morning sessions also featured investor presentations, with Obra Capital Longevity CIO, Will Ketterer, analyzing the Impact of Interest Rates on Structured Settlements and Other Longevity Sensitive Assets, while Fifth Season Investmentsā€™ President, Adam Balinsky, shared his perspective on the Life Settlement Market.

The afternoon sessions started with two cutting-edge presentations ā€“ the first by Dr. Richard Faragher, covering developments affecting Senescence & Aging, and the second by Dr. Jochen Russ on the Future of Life Expectancy.
