Execs head to San Francisco this month to explore how AI is driving the future of business communication

AI has already had a tremendous impact on the way that companies operate. When it comes to GenAI in particular, the tech is already integrated into the software from the biggest tech providers thanks to widely available LLMs from the likes of OpenAI, Google, Meta and Anthropic.

From help writing email drafts directly in one’s desktop application, to creating engaging LinkedIn posts and proof reading reports for copy errors, AI assistants ready to help with business communication are readily available across a range of use cases.

However, while these off-the-shelf AI tools may be helpful to some, mastering business communication is something that goes much deeper than just polishing an email draft.

This week, business executives and Fortune 2000 companies are heading to San Francisco to unpack the future of AI in the enterprise at Articulate 2025, a conference organized by Prezent

Its themes, “What skills will matter in an AI-first future” and “How can enterprises realize ROI from AI” aim to unpack two of the most urgent questions facing modern business leaders.

The full potential of AI in the workplace

The narrative around AI often focuses on things like automation within industrial settings or predictive analytics for finance. However, corporate use cases actually hold some of the most transformative potential.

McKinsey research sizes the long-term AI opportunity in added productivity growth potential from corporate use cases to sit at a huge $4.4 trillion USD.

However, the research also suggests that the biggest barrier to scaling AI in the workplace isn’t employees, but leaders who aren’t steering fast enough.

Articulate 2025, to be held at the St. Regis hotel in San Francisco on September 25th, will look at the future of AI in the workplace through the lens of business communication.

The opening session will be led by the CEO of Prezent, Rajat Mishra, who explained “At this stage, it’s fair to say that AI is now ubiquitous in the modern workplace, which means the question is no longer ‘when should I pull the trigger on using AI’, but ‘how can I use AI strategically.”

This will be followed by the opening keynote from Tony Colon who leads ServiceNow’s $1 billion USD Customer Success activity as SVP. His session, titled Skills that will define leadership in an AI-first future will unpack how leaders can get ahead of the curve.

These insights follow on from the incredible growth of Service Now where its AI focus has driven consistent year-over-year (YoY) revenue growth of 20 percent, with ServiceNow set to break the $10BN ARR barrier for the first time.

AI for communication goes deeper than emails

The next stages of AI in corporate settings will go much deeper than one-off tasks. Communication underpins countless business touch points, from client pitches and stakeholder updates to team conflict and HR updates.

Business leaders often struggle to make timely decisions, with many failing to achieve the desired outcomes but AI in communication can help with this.

At Articulate 2025, one of the panel events is titled Getting Real ROI from AI. This panel will bring together seasoned executives who have led successful large-scale AI initiatives inside well-recognized industry-leading tech companies.

Hosted by Deepti Juturu, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Prezent, the panel will feature Alexandra Zagury, VP of Global Partner Operations & Platform Experience at Cisco, Zack Rhoades, Chief of Staff to the President and Head of Strategy & Operations at GRAIL, Nishit Sahay, CIO at Marvell Technology and Elizabeth Whitson, VP, Development Operations at Gilead Sciences.

Attendees will also have a chance to listen to many more sessions, including ‘The AI-First Leader: Building Influence and Driving Change’, and ‘AI and the Future of Work: How Communication Bridges the Gap.’

The conference is organized by Prezent, a global enterprise-grade AI platform transforming business presentations and communication, and which is powered by Astrid, a contextually intelligent AI that leverages industry-specific Specialized Presentation Models (SPMs).
