Enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company UiPath today announced in a company article that it’s offering integration with cloud content management platform Box to enable users and teams to automate repeatable processes that involve files and folders.

The enterprise RPA software company explained that with Box’s cloud content management platform, it makes it easier for users and teams to design robots that search, read, and update Box files and make automating any process that relies on files, data, or documents in Box simpler.

The company said the aim of UiPath using this integration with Box is to enable users and teams to increase productivity, accelerate digital transformation, and simplify the automation of critical business processes which will ideally make their mundane tasks simple, easy, and convenient potentially resulting in improved efficiency.

Dhruv Asher, senior vice president of business development and product alliances at UiPath explained how Box will enable businesses to easily begin their RPA journey by saying: “As this interest in accelerated processes amongst organizations continues to grow, our integration with Box enables enterprise organizations to easily begin their RPA journey, successfully mature and scale their automation initiatives, and refocus their workforce on business transformation.”

RPA has become an increasingly popular capability with companies implementing the technology and realising the powerful ROI of automating tasks and, in a number of cases, significantly improving business efficiency.

Only recently ING Direct chose Expert System AI-based automation capabilities to improve their business processes and Blue Prism raised over $120m back in April 2020 to improve their RPA capabilities.

The enterprise RPA software company claims to be the only business to offer an end-to-end platform for hyper-automation, combining their RPA solution with a full suite of capabilities that enable organisations with the potential to scale digital business operations at improved speeds.

UiPath has already automated millions of repetitive tasks for an impressive roster of businesses which includes over 65% of the Fortune 500 and 8 of the Fortune 10 which has partly led to the company being named a 2020 CNBC Disruptor 50 and being recognised as the fastest growing technology company in the Americas according to the Financial Times Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2020.

By UiPath integrating with Box, it allows the enterprise RPA software company to introduce and enhance a number of features which include clear interface design, rapid time-to-value, and ensured security.

Varun Parmer, Chief Product Officer at Box explained how the integration will help UiPath by saying: “The need for organisations to move fast and operate in a modern way is more important than ever before. The RPA industry requires the most advanced enterprise-grade collaboration tools, and we’re excited to provide UiPath customers with the ability to extend automation across and beyond the enterprise.”

The enterprise RPA software company wrote that the integration with the cloud content management platform will aim to continue the above success for their valuable customers by allowing users to improve productivity and get quicker results at scale.
