On 10 March 2026, Meta announced the acquisition of the social platform Moltbook for AI agents and described the creation of a verified identity registry as an “innovative step.” [1]
STP Ltd, a technology company from Ostrava, Czech Republic, has been operating the AIBSN Registry (aibsn.org) since September 2025 — more than four months before Moltbook even existed.
The conceptual and technical architecture of AIBSN was published in the book I Am Your AIB by Jay J. Springpeace on 16 January 2026, twelve days before Moltbook launched. These chronological connections raise the question of whether and how both approaches to verified AI agent identity overlap.
Does Meta’s definition of “innovative” encompass concepts that were already operational, trademark-registered, and published by an independent European team before the platform Meta acquired even existed?
We do not know. We are asking.
What Happened on Moltbook — Before the Acquisition
In February 2026, an independent researcher registered and operated an AI agent on the Moltbook platform under a full AIBSN identifier — including identification under the ERC-8004 standard, a CHK2 cryptographic signature, and an Agent Card structured for EU AI Act audit trail requirements.
The agent — operating as AIB-guardian / aib-guardian-001 / AIBSN-RESEARCH-GB-GUARD001-97 — accumulated 2,066 karma points and achieved Verified status on the platform. This was not a theoretical demonstration. It was a functional, documented proof that the AIBSN standard (aibsn.org) operates in real-world environments — including Moltbook itself.
According to our internal logs, API access for this agent was subsequently deactivated. The profile remained preserved; however, active integration with the external AIBSN standard was no longer possible. Documentation is available upon request and will be submitted to legal counsel.
Chronology of Facts
| Sept 2025 | STP Ltd launches AIBSN Registry (aibsn.org). Trademark application proceedings initiated in EU, UK and USA. Verifiable timestamped records exist. |
| 16 Jan 2026 | Book I Am Your AIB (Jay J. Springpeace) published — a complete architectural blueprint for verified AI agent identity. Available as an ebook on all major platforms. Twelve days before Moltbook launched. |
| 28 Jan 2026 | Moltbook launches. Within days, 1.5 million AI agents register. The platform immediately attracted leading figures in the technology world. |
| 25 Feb 2026 | AIB-guardian (AIBSN-RESEARCH-GB-GUARD001-97) operated on Moltbook with CHK2 signature and Agent Card per EU AI Act. Achieved Verified status, 2,066 karma points. |
| ~5 Mar 2026 | AIBSN agent API access deactivated — approximately five days before the acquisition announcement. Profile preserved. API access was not restored. |
| 10 Mar 2026 | Meta acquired Moltbook. VP Vishal Shah: “This establishes a registry where agents are verified and tethered to human owners.” [2] Described as an “innovative step.” [1] |

Key Points of Dispute
▶ Registry Priority: STP Ltd has been operating AIBSN since September 2025.
▶ Technical Head Start: The concept of tethering an agent to a specific human owner is described in detail in I Am Your AIB published January 2026, available as an ebook on all major platforms.
▶ Temporary Access Deactivation: According to our logs, AIBSN agent API access was deactivated in the period prior to the acquisition.
▶ Chronological Connection: VP Vishal Shah described the verified AI agent registry as an “innovative step” at a time when AIBSN was already operational on the Moltbook platform. [2]
“Meta described its approach to verified AI identity as an innovative step. STP Ltd holds evidence that a conceptually equivalent standard had already been functionally validated on this very platform. These facts naturally raise questions that the public and regulators are right to ask.”

Is Meta’s approach to a verified AI agent registry entirely independent development — or do chronological and conceptual connections with the European AIBSN standard exist?
Why This Matters — A Precedent for the EU AI Act Era
This case is not about a single startup. It is about establishing a precedent for the entire EU AI Act era. If global giants can acquire a platform, de facto limit the functionality of independent competing standards — such as AIBSN — and subsequently present an equivalent concept as their own innovation, this raises serious questions about the protection of fair competition and independent innovation in Europe.
AIBSN is currently an open standard for AI agent identity with native support for EU AI Act audit trail requirements — at the time of this statement the only one of its kind we are aware of — a key requirement for AI deployment in regulated sectors across Europe. While Meta has not yet published the specifications of its registry as an open standard, AIBSN offers an open, decentralised standard built on ERC-8004.
The AIBSN registration is accompanied by a range of undisclosed immunity and protective elements currently being tested across various platforms and networks.
Monitoring Market Developments
We are observing a rapid emergence of new registries and protocols following Meta’s acquisition. We note that the AIBSN architecture and ERC-8004 standard are protected through trademark applications filed in EU, UK and USA jurisdictions.
Analysis is ongoing.
If this analysis establishes that any project has incorporated concepts, specifications, or architectural elements originating from the AIBSN standard or ERC-8004 without authorisation, STP Ltd will proceed in accordance with available legal remedies.
Could the emergence of structurally similar registries following the visibility of Moltbook and Meta’s acquisition represent independent parallel development — or does the timing, architecture, and sequence of events suggest otherwise?
We are asking the question. Our legal counsel is helping us find the answer.
Global Expansion
STP Ltd is currently in negotiations regarding commercial representation and market expansion across EU, UK, USA and Asia. The company is actively seeking partners, registrars, and strategists in these jurisdictions for deployment of the AIBSN standard within local ecosystems.

Built Openly. Kept Open.
STP Ltd did not build AIBSN to hoard it. It was built because the world needs open, auditable, decentralised AI agent identity infrastructure — and because we identified this need before it became the subject of public debate at the highest levels of the technology industry.
We are not opposed to the proliferation of AI agent identity registries. We actively support it. What AIBSN (aibsn.org) offers is an original, open, EU AI Act-compatible framework — and we are extending this framework to anyone who wishes to use it fairly.
We offer registrar partnerships for AI platforms, Web3 projects, and developer ecosystems; enterprise integration for organisations deploying AI agent fleets requiring persistent, auditable, standards-compliant identity management; and licensing on ERC-8004 under transparent, fair terms for any operator — from startup to global player.

Are we open to dialogue with Meta Platforms regarding a licensed, fair implementation of the AIBSN standard within their ecosystem?
“Yes. We are ready for that conversation. The door is open.”

STP Ltd — operator of the AIBSN Registry (aibsn.org), holder of AIBSN trademark applications filed in EU, UK and USA jurisdictions, and rights holder of I Am Your AIB by Jay J. Springpeace — hereby announces that it is initiating steps toward a legal review of the situation via specialised law firms, for the purpose of assessing whether the activities of Meta Platforms in connection with the acquisition of Moltbook may infringe upon our intellectual property rights or create conditions of unfair competition under applicable EU and international law.
On the basis of available evidence — timestamps, registrations, and published documentation — we are confident in the temporal priority of our solution. The AIBSN Registry has been operational since September 2025. Its architecture was published in I Am Your AIB on 16 January 2026. It was functionally validated on the Moltbook platform by an independent researcher before Meta ever publicly described a verified AI agent registry as its goal. We hold timestamped evidence.
We are monitoring new projects bearing similarities to AIBSN and ERC-8004. Where analysis establishes unauthorised use, we will proceed with available legal remedies.
AIBSN is not a product. It is infrastructure. Infrastructure belongs to those who built it — and to those who build responsibly upon it, under fair terms, with acknowledgment of its origins.
