Enterprise AI platform provider, DataRobot, today announced in a company press release the launch of its new AI-centric public library which has been labeled DataRobot Pathfinder and is available to use today for free.
DataRobot Pathfinder is a library of more than 100 AI use cases that can provide users with the know-how to maximise success and impact based on DataRobot’s experience with thousands of real-world applications of AI.
The enterprise AI platform provider claims that DataRobot Pathfinder offers the most comprehensive library of AI use cases on the market, enabling individuals to discover the best application of AI for their unique business needs.
Michael Schmidt, Chief Scientist, DataRobot “We are hyper-focused on enabling massively successful and impactful applications of AI. DataRobot Pathfinder is meant to help organisations—whether they’re customers or not—deeply understand specific applications of AI for use cases in their industry and the right steps to create incredible value and efficiency.”
AI-enabled capabilities are increasingly being introduced into companies and it’s easier to understand why when companies such as Accenture have reported from a study that AI technology can enhance business productivity by 40%.
The number of AI applications and its uses are increasing at a significant rate with AI now being used across a range of industries that include agriculture, healthcare, insurance, training, and manufacturing to name a few, all of which could provide use cases to help other companies or divisions of the company adopt the technology quicker and less training costs.
Nvidia is an example of this with the announcement of its new products and AI-features at its GPU conference showing what can be possible with technologies like conversational AI and autonomous driving applications.
HelloDone is another recent example with the announcement of its new AI user called the Torch that can test, stress, and shine a light on issues with AI software.
The enterprise AI platform provider wrote that identifying and deploying the right use cases is critical for businesses to get real value from AI, yet it remains one of the biggest challenges to AI adoption.
The company claims that DataRobot Pathfinder gives users and customers the potential to offer insight into which use cases are commonly implemented across 14 various industries to illustrate the variety of problems that AI can solve.
Schmidt added: “There is real depth here that encodes our experience deploying thousands of real industry use-cases where AI creates profound impact, and we’re looking forward to hearing how others are able to leverage this to make their applications of AI come to life.”
For a number of high-value use cases, Pathfinder also provides detailed guides on how organisations can implement them from both a technical and business perspective.
The new service has been developed by DataRobot’s customer-facing data science team and built on what the company comments are decades’ worth of academic and industry experience to help users select and deploy the best AI use cases.
The public library aims to make it easy for users and businesses to identify the AI use case that best fits their needs by allowing them to filter by vertical, problem type, and value driver.
The use cases include industry-agnostic applications of AI, such as forecasting demand, scoring new leads, and reducing customer churn, as well as industry-specific applications of AI, including reducing hospital readmissions, predicting insurance claims’ severity, and preventing anti-money laundering to name a few.
DataRobot Pathfinder also contains 30 end-to-end guides available that provide a framework and best practices on how a business or team member could implement AI into an organisation.
