What happened?
On May 22, 2025, ApolloMD detected unusual activity within its network environment. In response, the company secured its systems and launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized third party gained access to ApolloMD’s network between May 22 and May 23, 2025. During this time, certain files containing electronic protected health information (ePHI) related to ApolloMD’s affiliated physicians and partner practices may have been accessed or acquired.
The potentially compromised information includes names, Social Security numbers, addresses, dates of birth, diagnoses, provider names, dates of service, treatment details, and health insurance information.
The Qilin ransomware group has claimed responsibility for the attack. ApolloMD has issued notification letters on behalf of the following covered entity clients:

- Pensacola Hospitalist Physicians, LLC
- Broad River Physicians Group, LLC
- Olive Branch Emergency Physicians, LLC
