ChargerHelp Accelerates EV Charging Station Reliability

The Reliability As A Service (RaaS) Model Drives Triple Growth in managed stations, New Partner Program, and Key Executive Hires

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ChargerHelp, the technology leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging reliability, today announced significant growth milestones that underscore the industry’s shift toward data-centric operations and proactive service models.

As EV infrastructure scales, operational complexity has outpaced traditional maintenance models, creating a fragmented ecosystem where 1 of 5 charging sessions fail. ChargerHelp solves this critical problem by applying a data-centric approach to optimize charging infrastructure. Through its proprietary EMPWR platform, the company delivers a predictable and reliable operating model.

Driven by the rapid adoption of its Reliability as a Service (RaaS) model, ChargerHelp has tripled its stations under management, formalized a new partner program for our ecosystem, and strengthened its executive team to scale the business.

Exponential Growth Underscores Market Need

ChargerHelp’s growth has led to the collection of over 300 million data points which fuels its machine learning algorithms. This significant increase in managed assets underscores the industry’s need for a structured approach that transforms reactive charging station maintenance into a proactive, cost-effective solution.

“Reliability at scale is a learning problem, not a maintenance problem,” said Kameale Terry, CEO of ChargerHelp. “When data and field experience are fragmented, every failure is treated like the first, with Truck Rolls for even minor software issues. By unifying cross-network data with real-world field intelligence into a single platform, we reduce diagnosis and decision latency and create a flywheel where every resolved issue makes the system smarter. Reaching this milestone shows the industry is ready to move beyond reactive maintenance toward intelligence-led infrastructure operations.

New Partner Program Unifies the Fragmented Ecosystem

To address the fragmentation caused by disconnected OEMs, CMS platforms, and service vendors, ChargerHelp has launched a comprehensive Partner Program. This initiative leverages the EMPWR platform, a technology layer that sits above OEMs and CMS platforms, to orchestrate coordination between hardware manufacturers, software providers, and field technicians.

The program builds on established partnerships with over 40 EVSE providers. By integrating with backend systems via the EMPWR APIs, ChargerHelp creates a unified feedback loop with partners such as ChargeLab. This collaboration ensures that the ~90% of charger outages related to software issues are quickly diagnosed and the appropriate action is determined—resolving issues remotely when possible and eliminating blind, unnecessary truck rolls when on-site work is required.

Strategic Executive Hires for National Fulfillment

To support this rapid scaling and national fulfillment, ChargerHelp has expanded its leadership team with key executive hires bringing deep expertise in fleet operations and enterprise growth.

Jerry Varnado, SVP Operations: Jerry Varnado has been appointed to lead ChargerHelp’s operations and service delivery, bringing an operator’s perspective to scaling tech-enabled businesses. Prior to ChargerHelp, he was Chief of Staff at ChargePoint, where he also led the Global Services business before its IPO. He has also held senior roles at Meta and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and continues to serve as a venture advisor.

Brad Juhasz, Chief Product Officer: Brad Juhasz has been appointed to lead the strategic development of the EMPWR platform, focusing on its integration with third-party APIs to significantly improve the company’s diagnosis and service workflows. He brings over 20 years of pioneering experience in EV charging systems, having co-founded technology at EV Connect and most recently spending four years in market development at Eaton Corporation. His notable contributions to the industry include creating the market’s first charge station management SaaS system in 2006 and launching North America’s first OCPP-based network in 2011.

These executive additions are precisely aligned with the organization’s immediate operational and product needs, reinforcing our commitment to driving exceptional service delivery and industry expertise.

The EMPWR Advantage

At the core of this momentum is EMPWR, a brand-agnostic intelligence platform that unifies cross-network data with field outcomes to reduce diagnosis latency and improve decision accuracy over time. This learning loop enables EMPWR to reliably distinguish between physical damage and software faults, helping operators increase charger uptime from approximately 60% to over 90%.

About ChargerHelp: ChargerHelp is the technology backbone for the EV charging industry, providing Reliability as a Service (RaaS) to fleets, site hosts, and networks. Powered by the EMPWR platform and a national network of industry-trained technicians, ChargerHelp eliminates the chaos of fragmentation, ensuring that EV charging is predictable, reliable, and accessible.
