Company will Provide Life-Saving Blast Attenuation Seats in Support of Military Vehicle Crew Survivability Programs
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cadre Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CDRE) (“Cadre” or “the Company”) announced today that its subsidiary Med-Eng, LLC has been awarded two contracts with values of $74.6 million and $11.8 million by General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) to provide blast attenuation seats. Delivering best-in-class protection, the seats will be deployed in the upcoming production of Mowag EAGLE V 4×4 command and control vehicles, and the Mowag EAGLE V 6×6 medium protected ambulance military vehicles.

Production and first delivery of the Eagle V 4×4 contract, the larger of the two programs, will begin in 2026 and continue until 2031, while the Eagle V 6×6 contract will run in parallel, beginning in 2026 and continuing through 2029.
The seats will protect the driver and other occupants against the dual blast threats posed by mines and roadside devices, namely sudden vertical acceleration followed by a slam-down effect, as well as conventional threats encountered by all vehicles. Med-Eng has applied its expertise in blast physics and vehicle integration to develop and field an array of seats for wheeled and tracked military vehicles as part of new builds and retrofit programs. Each design meets specific needs for occupant placement in the vehicle, protective performance, space claim, weight, comfort and emergency evacuation.
