ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bluesight, the leader in hospital intelligence solutions, today announced the launch of a fully redesigned 340BCheck software platform, a compliance command center built to help covered entities maintain compliance and defend their 340B programs.
340BCheck builds on technology originally developed by Sectyr and acquired by Bluesight in 2024. After the acquisition, Bluesight expanded the platform’s capabilities, including the launch of a 100% transaction audit in 2025, culminating in a redesigned interface. The new platform introduces Bluesight’s signature workflow-driven design alongside core compliance infrastructure, with current and upcoming capabilities including: full transaction auditing across patient, provider, and location definitions; OPAIS database synchronization; contract pharmacy and pharmacy service agreement management; Medicare cost report maintenance; Medicaid exclusion file validation; policy and procedure management; mock HRSA audits; and integrated documentation and task management.
This product launch comes amidst a turbulent period for the 340B program, which has become a mission-critical driver of financial health for healthcare organizations. In fiscal year 2025 alone, HRSA audited 115 covered entities and nearly half were found to have adverse findings. Incorrect OPAIS records appeared in 75% of those entities, highlighting the need for compliance tools that go beyond transaction audits. At the same time, manufacturer data-sharing demands are changing daily, HRSA continues to pursue rebate-based distribution models, and contract pharmacy disputes continue to evolve at the state level.
As a result, covered entities are being asked to manage significantly more regulatory complexity and documentation, often with the same teams they had just a few years ago. In parallel, many organizations are also working to expand their 340B programs, which is driving a growing volume of auditable transactions.
Bluesight redesigned 340BCheck with a clear objective: helping covered entities stay perpetually ready for a HRSA audit with confidence. The platform’s workflows were designed around real-world HRSA audit requirements – starting with what a successful audit demands and working backward to provide the workflows needed for continuous audit readiness.
The new platform builds on years of operational use by 340B program teams while introducing a faster, more intuitive user experience. “340B compliance used to be about spot checks, but today it’s about continuous readiness,” noted Kevin MacDonald, CEO and Co-Founder of Bluesight. “Audit scrutiny is rising, manufacturer requirements are expanding, and a potential rebate model could add entirely new documentation layers — without any increase in team size for most organizations. Covered entities should be audit-ready every single day, not just when HRSA shows up.”
The new platform was previewed at both ASHP Midyear in December 2025 and the 340B Coalition Annual Conference in February 2026, where 340B program managers responded strongly to its focus on continuous compliance rather than partial compliance coverage. Bluesight is also preparing additional capabilities for a rebate-based pricing model within the 340B program by consolidating regulatory and financial workflows, including tools to guide upfront procurement decisions, align 340B transaction audits with rebate-eligible transactions, and track rebate payments.
