Tolga Simsek

Dr. Tolga Şimşek works as a Products and Solutions Development Manager in Siemens and he is the head of Technology and Innovation teams in Siemens Advanta organization in Istanbul, Turkey. Tolga received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, his MBA and Ph.D. degrees in Management (Technology and Innovation) from Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Over the past 20 years, he has been involved in several multi-national and multi-cultural software development projects in more than 20 countries around the world. He worked as a software engineer and software team lead for cloud/edge-based industrial IoT projects, Industry 4.0 use-cases, digital apps for Industry, Digital-Twin and simulation applications and MES/MOM projects. Dr. Simsek has domain expertise in software product development for industrial systems, DevOps and SDLC processes.
