Ted leads the Software Product Management team at Markforged. Before joining Markforged, Ted managed AI/ML product development activities at the MGH & BWH Center for Clinical Data Science. He spent four years leading smartwatch platform engineering & product development at Fitbit. And was a member of the team at Empire Robotics, a startup focusing on collaborative robotic end effectors. Prior to joining the private sector Ted served for five years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and studied Electrical & Computer Engineering.
