Joyjeet is The Smart Cube’s Data Engineering Practice Lead, responsible for setting up data engineering and data governance, establishing ways of working, leading agile teams including full stack developers, and working on technologies including: Python, Apache Airflow, Spark, Azure Databricks, Docker, Snowflake and more. With over 19 years of diverse industry experience, Joyjeet has been a Development Manager and Product Architect for major brands such as Barclays & FIS Global; wherein he led Data Engineering and Product Engineering teams working with Chief Data Officers and Chief Information Officers. His biggest career accomplishments include designing the first Derivatives Reconciliation Product using intelliMATCH (2009) and leading multiple development teams at Barclays in Risk, Finance and Treasury units.
