
— On the afternoon of September 11, 2025, the high-level seminar titled “Breaking Through and Restructuring: AI and Digitalization Reshape the New Landscape of Vocational Education Development”—an international seminar on the integration of industry and education and Sino-foreign cultural exchanges in the context of AI and digital transformation—was successfully held. This event was jointly hosted by Guizhou Mechanical and Electrical Technical College, Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College, and Jiangsu Vocational College of Information Technology, and organized by Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd,. The seminar brought together numerous leaders from domestic and foreign educational institutions and business guests to collectively discuss the application and development of AI and digital transformation in the field of vocational education, explore new models and pathways for international integration of industry and education, and provide new ideas and directions for the innovative development of vocational education.
The event was attended by education experts and university leaders from home and abroad, as well as representatives from enterprises such as ZTE Corporation and Thai Borthong33 lndustrial Estate.
At the meeting, Dr. Rangsan Thepmondhri, Vocational Education Commission, the Ministry of Education, Thailand,Director of Public Sector Development Group, He Jun, Party Secretary of Guizhou Mechanical and Electrical Technical College, Sun Ping, Deputy Party Secretary of Jiangsu Vocational College of Information Technology, Zhang Yu, President of Huatec, and Lu Xiaofei, Director of the Education Industry Department at ZTE Corporation, delivered speeches respectively.
Dr. Rangsan Thepmondhri, Vocational Education Commission, the Ministry of Education, Thailand,Director of Public Sector Development Group, acknowledged the achievements made in Sino-Thai vocational education cooperation, emphasized the significance of the “International Cultural Exchange and Practical Project” in cultivating compound talents, and looked forward to further expanding areas of cooperation in the future to promote educational exchanges and regional development.
He Jun, Party Secretary of Guizhou Mechanical and Electrical Technical College, pointed out that the college is actively responding to the digital trend by establishing a hub for cultivating “digital craftsmen,” constructing a deeply integrated industry-education ecosystem, and expanding international cooperation.
Sun Ping, Deputy Party Secretary of Jiangsu shared the college’s innovative practices in promoting the export of international resources, exploring a “teacher-student-machine” ternary teaching structure, and integrating AI into education.
Zhang Yu, President of Huatec, Huatec has continuously supported the internationalization and digital transformation of education through a series of initiatives, including the “MOE-ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base” and the “International Cultural Exchange and Practical Project.”
Lu Xiaofei, Director of the Education Industry Department at ZTE Corporation, By establishing overseas training bases, promoting multilingual teaching solutions, and building an “ecosystem for vocational education to go global,” ZTE aims to drive the transformation of vocational education from digitization to intelligentization.

During the special presentations session, Dr. Tang Ni, Deputy Director of the Industry-Education Cooperation Division at the Vocational Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Li Xin, Director of Education Solutions at ZTE Corporation, and Wang Bo,Borthong33 lndustrial Estate, Vice Chairman of Chinese Teachers (Thailand) Association, focused their remarks on the digital transformation of vocational education, the internationalization of education, and talent cultivation and demand development in overseas industrial parks, respectively.

Signing Ceremony
During the meeting, a signing ceremony for the joint establishment of the “Jingshi Institute” was held between Chinese and foreign parties, committed to integrating high-quality global educational resources and laying a solid foundation for the joint cultivation of outstanding talents with a global perspective and exceptional competitiveness in the future.
Case Sharing on Internationalized School Operation
During the session dedicated to sharing experiences in internationalized school operation, the conference invited He Jun, Party Secretary of Guizhou Mechanical and Electrical Technical College; Sommai Pivsa-Art, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi in Thailand; Yang Yongzhi, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Hebei Judicial Police Vocational College; Samy Abdelsamad Nasef Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Egyptian Chinese University; and Zhang Xiaoming, Vice President of Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College, to share their respective cases. In the process of advancing the international development of vocational education, all parties agreed that international cooperation, technological innovation, and talent cultivation are key elements that promote cultural exchanges, educational cooperation, and contribute to global educational progress and industrial upgrading.
Sharing of Construction Plans
During the session dedicated to sharing construction plans, various guests introduced the practices and plans of their respective institutions in internationalized school operation. The practices and plans of these institutions demonstrate the proactive exploration of Chinese vocational education in the process of internationalization. Through in-depth cooperation with overseas universities and institutions, they promote the internationalization of professional development and talent cultivation models, making significant contributions to educational cooperation and cultural exchanges under the “Belt and Road” Initiative and facilitating global educational cooperation and regional economic development.
