Leaders from Wayve, Aurora, Physical Intelligence, Zipline, Shield AI, Bedrock Robotics, Dyna Robotics, Cobot, Saronic, Dexory and more will headline two days of technical talks, keynotes, fireside chats, demos, and hands-on programming.
SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Foxglove today announced the speaker lineup and programming for Actuate 26, its annual robotics developer conference for engineers, software developers, AI/ML practitioners, founders and technical leaders building production robots and Physical AI systems. Taking place August 18–19, 2026, at Fort Mason in San Francisco, Actuate 26 is expected to draw more than 1,000 attendees from companies deploying robots in the real world across autonomous vehicles, drones, humanoids, defense systems, construction, logistics, industrial automation, maritime autonomy, agriculture and general-purpose robotics.
“Physical AI has graduated from the lab to the real world, but scaling it is now the defining challenge for the industry,” said Adrian Macneil, co-founder and CEO of Foxglove. “Making data actionable is how robotics companies scale from one robot to fleets, from simple automation to complex tasks, and from demos to production-grade reliability. Actuate brings together the people shipping robots into production to share how they operationalize robot data to improve autonomy and accelerate scaling.”
Actuate 26 is a technical robotics conference focused on the real engineering work behind scaling robots from demos to production. Over the past two years, Actuate has become the premier destination to discuss training and deploying Physical AI, with sold-out conferences since launching in 2024. The two-day event will cover autonomy, robot foundation models, robot data infrastructure, simulation, fleet operations, debugging, evaluation, deployment and the data workflows that help robotics teams improve production-grade reliability.

Programming Highlights
Keynotes on scaling Physical AI: Adrian Macneil, co-founder and CEO of Foxglove, will open Actuate 26 with “The Future of Robotics,” a keynote on how actionable robot data can help teams scale Physical AI from breakthrough demos to production-grade fleets capable of increasingly complex tasks. The keynote will introduce Foxglove’s vision for an agentic data platform for Physical AI, with customer perspectives and product demos showing how AI-based workflows help teams learn faster from real-world robot data.
Fireside conversations with autonomy leaders: The agenda includes fireside chats with Chris Urmson, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Aurora, and Alex Kendall, co-founder and CEO of Wayve. These conversations will explore lessons from building and scaling autonomous systems across some of the most technically demanding real-world environments.
Technical sessions from teams deploying robots in production: Actuate 26 sessions will cover the engineering challenges behind modern robotics and Physical AI, including robot foundation models, autonomous driving, drone delivery, defense autonomy, dexterity, simulation, construction robotics, maritime autonomy, industrial automation, fleet operations, data infrastructure and the full development loop from field data to debugging, evaluation and deployment.
Hands-on demos, workshops and expo programming: Attendees will get direct exposure to the tools, workflows and technologies used by robotics teams building production systems. The expo will feature companies across the robotics, AI infrastructure and developer tooling ecosystem, with sponsors including NVIDIA, Uber AI Solutions, Avala, Anyscale, LiveKit, Nebius, Ouster and others.
Community events for robotics builders: Actuate 26 will also feature dedicated networking, happy hours, technical demos, breakout programming and live robot experiences designed to connect builders across the robotics ecosystem.
