
LONGUEUIL, QC, April 10, 2026 /CNW/ – Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will soon conclude his mission around the Moon. The Artemis II crew will splash down at 8:07 pm ET in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of San Diego, California.
To cover this milestone, the CSA is inviting media to the John H. Chapman Space Centre in Longueuil to watch the splashdown live. CSA experts will be available on site for commentary and interviews.
All media must present their press card at the gate and again at the reception desk. Please arrive early to avoid any security-related delays.

Canada made history when Jeremy Hansen became the first Canadian – and first non-American – to ever participate in a lunar mission. Artemis II was the first crewed mission to the Moon since the Apollo missions over 50 years ago.
